The Babies

(Starting at 12 O'Clock and going clockwise: London, Judah, Wyatt, Nolan and Una)

Yesterday, Una and I went over to Patty's house for a little mommy gathering. There were 5 mommies and 5 babies and we had lots of fun eating lunch and taking photos of these little munchkins who are all around the same age. This was the first time Una actually realized that there are others out there like her and it was so fun having them all lying on the blanket together. For a tiny second, Una and Nolan were holding hands (purely by accident i'm sure), but the moment was priceless.

Celebrating Daddy

For Father's Day we went to Navarre for dinner (of course!). Our friends Jackie and Marshall were in town for the BECon Glass Conference, and we were lucky enough to have them join us. Thanks again to Jackie for treating such a delicious meal! Oh, and Navarre was just named the Restaurant of the Year...duh!

...and for the occasion, Una dressed up in this incredibly adorable outfit that used to belong to Leila and Neve, the daughters of my very dear friend Jen, who also happens to be the friend I've known the longest (since 1st grade). Thank you so much for sending it, Jen. It brings me squeals of joy, and i can only imagine how cute this looked on your beautiful girls!

Happy Father's Day

Dear Daddy, 

For father's day i wanted to tell you that i really dig all those songs you sing to me with my name in them. i like how you always tell me that i'm gorgeous AND smart, and all the fun walks you take me on. I really like it when you read stories and poetry to me, and playtime with you is the best! Thanks for working so hard and for everything you do to tell mommy and me that we are very special.

My First Friend

We recently had our friend Alicia over for dinner, and she brought Una this adorable little super owl, which Alicia had made herself. Una just loves it as you can see, and we think it's pretty groovy. I also recently discovered that Una is suddenly big enough to wear alot more of her clothes, like this way cool drumming robot onesie (Thanks Paul, Michelle and Elle!) which is really exciting for me. Not that i'm in to clothes or anything...

Happy Birthday Ivy and Kristin!

Today is both Kristin and Ivy's birthday and we wanted to send out a virtual birthday kiss to both. Una and i were lucky enough to be able to have lunch with Ivy, but Kristin lives in Bend so we didn't get to chow with her today...hopefully sometime soon we will have cake. 

It was our first outing with the girls for lunch and Una dressed up in her very best for the occasion. The outfit was given to her by her great aunt Kathie, sent all the way from Chocolate Town, USA. It is so darn cute we had to do a little fashion shoot once we got home.

So yeah, she's not quite dancing like she's never danced before...because she's never danced before...but she did get lots of compliments on her Flash Dance outfit in mom and baby yoga class on saturday.

Today was a big day for ms. Una Belle. She had her 2 month checkup and is now 8.5 lbs halleighlujah and 22-1/4" long. She's only 5% or 35% of her weight class (depending on how you count) and 75% of her height...so she's still pretty small...skinny and long...but her doctor said she was doing really well and we sure are happy about that!

Isaak

Last weekend Serra, Kenan and the cutest Isaak Evren Ginsberg, aka Mr. Wonderful, took a stroll in the park with us on a beautiful sunday morning (his middle name is turkish for Universe which is so rad). Thanks for coming over and playing with us!
