Uncle Timmy

Uncle Timmy stayed with us and on his first morning he and Una played with Grimmy, the funny little yellow doglike toy. So then, each morning Una would say, Uncle Timmy! Grimmy! Grimmy, Uncle Timmy! Una misses her Uncle Timmy. Thanks for making the trip to Portland, and come back soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a lovely thanksgiving holiday. Nana Sally, Grandpa Tim, Aunt Judes and Uncle Timmy came to see us, and we really enjoyed having them here. Una especially loves her audience. On thanksgiving day, Laurie, Nancy and Alex joined us for more food any of us could possibly eat. But that's the way it's supposed to be right? Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful time! xoxo.

To Be Thankful For

"I once read that when we have a child, it's as though our heart steps out of our body and starts walking around on legs of its own forevermore. The pain, the beauty, the helplessness, and the magnificence of bringing up a child are impossible and overwhelming. Sometimes, we look at our children and can hardly catch our breath. The love we feel for them brings us to our knees as we pray that they will be okay, and that their lives--today, as little ones, and onward towards what we hope will be a very long adulthood--will be blessed." ~Susan Stiffelman, Parenting Without Power Struggles

Tonight, on the eve of much eating, i am thankful for this amazing opportunity called parenthood. This one goes out to all you parents, including my own, and to each of my siblings which i hold carefully in my heart with much love.

AB/DC

Some videos from halloween showcasing lots of hard rock, kid's style. Una is becoming quite the singer. She loves her ABC's.
