The Thomas'

We flew into Newark, NJ last saturday and stayed a few days with Marcia, Josh, and Clyde in their beautiful new house. Kathy came up as well and we had a big sleep over with lots of good food (thanks Josh). The Thomas' live in Maplewood, NJ, a super cute little town and there is a gorgeous reservation nearby that we went for a hike in. Una also became a big fan of their steps. There were many trips up and down. We miss the Thomas' and wished we lived closer.

The Breakfast Club

Almost every morning, my grandparents go out to breakfast with my pop's brother Jim and my nanny's sisters, Glady and Sandy. We joined them on wednesday

Grandma Gloria

Four generations: Nanny (Tara's grandmother), Tara, Una and Gloria (Tara's Mom)

At age 77, my grandmother still has hardly any grey hair. It's a blessing placed on all the McCorkle ladies. My nanny is one of 5 sisters.

Wednesday was a big day. We drove down to Brogue to see Grandma Gloria after breakfast with nanny and pop and spent a lovely afternoon hanging out...and getting some cute photos.

Nanny's House

My "little" brother, Gavin. It was very nice to see him. Una was a bit shy around him.

Una's cousin Isabella, who is 6 months older. They became fast friends.

Una giving an Aunt Belle look.

Three cousins: Una, Bella and Jeremy

Jeremy is 3 months younger than Una.

Jess (bella's mom) tries to appease Una, who was having a little meltdown and not really into a photo session at the moment.

More PA Fun

Hershey is home to Indian Echo Caverns, a place that i think i visited only once in my entire life. they do a haunted caverns tour around halloween and i think i went as a teenager and took my sister. Una enjoyed the caves and was sporting a punky brewster look in it's 52 degree environment.

We heart Kathy Krall. She came up for dinner on a beautiful thursday night.

Grandpa D and his tractor. We had to get a few shots.

Evening light.

Una on the three wheeler that my brother, sister and i enjoyed growing up.

Una in her new dress from Aunt Asten talking to Stormy, my dad's 13 year old cat. She's a nice kitty.

Philadelphia Freedom

Independence Hall

Aunty Asten

Aunty Asten giving Una sunglasses lessons. She actually got Una to let them on her face for a few seconds by the end of the day. I think Una was trying to impress her. She likes to just stare at Asten and was saying all kinds of new words for her.

The Museum of Modern Art. Asten refuses to do the cliche Rocky posture that everyone does on the steps.
