Una has a very special pair of shoes that she is wearing in this video for the first time. Unfortunately, they are still a little too big, but she really likes them. They are a white pair of all stars that were given to us by the Thomas'. Clyde wore them in our wedding. How cool is that?

Little Pinky Twinkle Toes

Una is so adorable in this little pink shirt sans pants that i had to catch her in live action. Also, she's getting really good at throwing the ball. She's really into that right now. I think most kids her age are, they are just not all this cute (totally biased). Speaking of cute, Una does this thing where she will take a toy and put it to her forhead and shake her head a little. It's her version of a kiss. So at dinner the other night, Alex was reading Una the book Hooray for Fish. There's a part at the end that goes, "But where's the one i love the best...Hello Mom, Hello Little Fish. Kiss, kiss, kiss! Hooray for fish!" And then Una does the forehead thing with me, but this time she grabs both sides of my face and we rub noses. It was melt your heart material.

Happy Daddy's Day!

Una and i would like to wish Daddy Teddy a very happy father's day, and to say, we love you very much. Thank you for all the things that you do and give to make our lives so lovely. We also wanted to wish Grandpa D and Grandpa Tim, Poppa Dee Dee and Uncle Matt a wonderful father's day as well! Thinking of you.

Una is doing really well with her sign language...she's got the sign for more down as seen in the videos.

Happy Birthday Alex!

Today is Alex's birthday, and the birthday gods have ordered up an absolutely beautiful day for her. Although there is no way we can beat that, we do want to wish Ms. Alex an amazing birthday year filled with lots of good things on the horizon. We are lucky enough to see Alex on a regular basis, now that she has moved back from Hawaii, and she likes to arrange Una's toys in the living room in lots of fun and provocative ways after Una goes to bed for the night. The next morning is like Christmas for Una, and she shrieks with delight to find them all smiling at her.

Una has also taken to hiding her toys under the sheepskin rug in the living room, like a little squirrel who is storing away nuts for the winter. We think she got this idea from Alex who was playing a hide and seek game with her and her toys. One night, Ted came home and almost tripped on the rug. He lifted it up and found a treasure trove of stuff. Una just gave him a look like, "Hey dad, don't be messin' with my stuff!"

Mommy is a little nutso about the tutu...i'm just warning you. Chances are, you will see ALOT more of them.

House Work

Look! i found a new way to clean my floors AND watch my kid at the same time. Just kidding. Ok, maybe not entirely...it does work.

Una's First Opening

Una went to her first art opening on wednesday at the Bullseye Gallery. She looked at rockets, lumpy men and eggs on wheels while mommy had a glass of wine. it was a nice treat. Una also met this stylish little girl whose name i unfortunately cannot remember. But her mommy works with ted.

Powell Butte

We went to Powell Butte on sunday, which is a gorgeous piece of open space at the edge of the city.

Una attempted to eat many rocks.

We distracted her by making her walk in the grass.

And Una passed out just as we got back to the car. She was tired after all the walking and rock eating.
