Ted and i enjoyed a rare moment alone (thanks Nana Sally!) and took a ride in the bay side of the lake, up the river, and past the beaver dam. The water is really high this year due to all the rain they've had. in fact, it hasn't been much of a summer...too cold. But after being here for 6 days, i finally took the plunge into the cool waters. Nothing like a lake swim....it just makes you feel good.
